The Chawenco Story

Who are we

Chawenco was founded in 2012. Our main aim was to provide training; consulting and management services to corporate companies and government. Fast-forward 10 years later, and we are providing training to industry.

Chawenco is an amalgamation of Charmé and Wentzel Coetzer’s skills. With more than 25 years combined experience in Psychology, Management, Research, Education and Training, Chawenco is providing the necessary continuous professional development skills to Registered Counsellors, Psychometrist and Psychologists.

Meet the Chawenco Team

Charmé Coetzer

Charmé is a Research Psychologist. She holds a Masters in Research Psychology; Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE); B.A Psychology (Hons), B.A. Psychology and is registered with SACE. Charmé specializes in developing research questionnaires and tests, data collection and analysis. She brings her research, education management, ethical and educational psychology competencies to Chawenco. She is an experienced teacher, with an interest in learning disabilities, languages, and music.

Wentzel Coetzer

Wentzel is a businessman. He holds a Masters in Business Management; B.A Psychology (Hons), B.A. Psychology. He is registered with the HPCSA as a Registered Counsellor and he is registered with SACE. He brings his corporate training competencies, research and experience related abnormal psychology; trauma counselling, bereavement, career counselling and alcohol and drug rehabilitation to Chawenco.

Esmé Malan

Esmé Malan, a skilled business administrator, holds N Dip in Business Management and N.Dip in Marketing Management. Her extensive background in the corporate healthcare industry includes managing customer service, sales, data, and different business administration functions, all of which she now applies at Chawenco.
